Our Partners

Our history: 1989–2026

CIPMM was established in 1989 as the Materiel Management Institute (MMI), a national not-for-profit created to raise the profile and professionalism of the community. The organization adopted the CIPMM name in 2006 to reflect its growing procurement mandate. Its first workshop welcomed 50 delegates in 1990; today, national and regional workshops, fleet programming, round tables and webinars serve hundreds of practitioners. The Mentorship Program, launched in 2017, continues to connect emerging professionals with experienced public-sector leaders.
